Global Graphics Announces Software License Agreement with OneVision

Press release from the issuing company

Cambridge, UK - OneVision is an international software company with headquarters in Germany that provides workflow solutions for newspapers, financial printers, large corporations and all types of general, commercial printers. The products' main focus is to edit, repair and streamline PDF and Postscript documents. They will integrate Global Graphics' Jaws software solutions throughout their Asura, Solvero and Solico products. A fully automated correction and optimization tool, Asura checks PDF and PostScript files, ensuring data integrity before the files enter the workflow. Via hot folder access and user-defined parameters Asura verifies document content, optimizes PostScript code and repairs common problems. Solvero is a manual application that includes a full suite of editing tools that can interact with standard file formats such as PostScript, PDF, and EPS - allowing users to modify digital data efficiently and quickly. Users can open files, display them on-screen, and make changes, corrections and other modifications. Selective magnification is supported, allowing users to zoom it as much as 80,000%. Corrected files can then be output as DSC Postscript, EPS or PDF, depending on specific workflow needs. Solico is utilized to open documents with an integrated RIP Engine, processing PDF files. Solico can clean up incorrect or corrupt PDF information. Users can edit text, images, and graphics and also reduce the size of output files through data compression to ensure that files pass through the production line without any difficulty. The output format of Solico is PDF. "The Jaws Systems Ltd acquisition allows us to accelerate our penetration into the broad market of digital copiers, office printers, embedded software applications and provide more technology to software companies active in solutions for print and e-document handling such as OneVision", said James Freidah, Chief Operating Officer for Global Graphics' Printing Software Division
