Fujifilm's Fourth Color Layer Technology employs a fourth color-sensitive layer that essentially enables film to "see” color in nearly the same way as the human eye. This improves color fidelity, especially in the green portion of the spectrum. As a result, true-to-life colors are reproduced accurately, even under florescent light. Fine S (Sigma) Technology With conventional film emulsions, generally the higher the speed, the coarser the grain. Fujifilm's advanced Fine S (Sigma) Technology makes possible exceptionally thin, uniformly sized and shaped flat silver halide grains, which gives this film exceptional granularity.
