Birmingham-based direct mail fulfilment and print management services provider, Baker Goodchild has been successfully audited for both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 business management standards, as the business continues to invest and expand.
The direct mail fulfilment company was successfully audited for Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001 at the beginning of this year, once again achieving and passing the rigorous auditing procedures required to continue to hold these vital business quality standards, which are a key and integral part of its day to day business management processes.
All of this was achieved whilst the direct mail fulfilment continues to grow and invest in both its business and workforce, as the Birmingham-based business continues to flourish.
Commenting on the successful auditing for the environmental and quality management standards, Baker Goodchild Managing Director, Lorraine Burnell, stated, “We have been undertaking these audits for a number of years now, and although the auditing process and standards to achieve are high, it is always a reassurance to both ourselves and clients when we pass them, ensuring that our high level of business management standards are being adhered to and maintained.”
ISO 14001 is the international standard for Environmental Management Systems, which maps out a framework that a company or organisation can follow to set up an effective environmental management system for its particular business activity or sector.
ISO 9001 is a Quality Management Standard, which suits all organisations large or small, and covers all sectors, with the aim to help organisation or companies to become structured and efficient.
