Smart Papers Launches New Web Site

Press release from the issuing company

HAMILTON, Ohio--June 17, 2004-- SMART Papers, a leading North American producer of super-premium cast coated, matte coated and uncoated printing papers, today launched a new, easy-to-use website that reflects the best practices in site design. The site provides graphic designers, advertising agencies, commercial printers, paper distributors and consumers detailed information on the company and its well-known branded products. Paper samples, print promotions and information on where to get the papers can be easily obtained. SMART Papers products are used worldwide for marketing and advertising collateral, luxury consumer goods packaging, annual reports, corporate identity systems, books and much more. The new website was designed by Minneapolis-based strategic design firm Little & Company. The company has long served major corporations including Target and Wells Fargo, both of which are well known for their high-impact, market-leading brands. "SMART Papers' new site reflects the company's value proposition in the marketplace -- world-class products and service. The site quickly and easily addresses the needs of users, whether those needs are simple or highly detailed, without any waste of time or effort, " said Little & Company owner and creative director Monica Little. "We wanted to offer graphics professionals a positive experience -- to give them a powerful, easy-to-use web tool to obtain information about our products, promotions, manufacturing capabilities and our industry-leading environmental innovations," said SMART Papers CEO and president Tim Needham. Needham said the site was designed based on detailed feedback from customers nationwide and will be continuously expanded. Online sales of retail packaged papers are scheduled to begin next year.
