Press release from the issuing company
FOSTER CITY, Calif.--June 15, 2004-- EFI, the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, is counting down to the fifth annual Connect users' conference, taking place June 27-30th at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
With more than 160 sessions and over 800 attendees -- including EFI customers, industry leaders, media and analysts -- the four-day conference will offer participants an information-packed, interactive opportunity to discuss industry trends, test drive the latest software updates, exchange ideas, and attend a broad range of educational and keynote sessions.
"Since this is the first Connect since EFI acquired Printcafe, we have even more exciting product updates and news to share than past conferences, and we're especially looking forward to learning more about what's on our customers' minds," said Marc Olin, Vice President/General Manager, EFI Commercial Print Systems. "EFI spends a lot of time with customers throughout the year, but the Connect environment is an incredible opportunity to immerse ourselves in their business concerns and experiences."
Connect 2004 will also offer an expanded industry showcase exhibit area displaying the latest products and solutions from Adobe, Alinco Computers, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Exact Software, Exstream Software, Heidelberg, HP, Innovative Mailing, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, Kodak Versamark, Komori America, Konica Minolta, MAN Roland, Presstek, Screen, SmartLinc, Toshiba, and Xerox.
Added Olin: "The Connect users' conference has attracted an impressive group of leading companies, exemplifying the central role that EFI plays in the printing and imaging industries, and the close associations it has with top vendors. Our customers will be able to gather first-hand knowledge about these partners and their products, and learn how they may integrate with their print management information systems and other products from EFI."
Keynotes and Expanded Sessions
The Connect 2004 program has been expanded with new content and additional conference tracks, with more than 150 breakout sessions offering practical applications and discussions tailored to leverage the tremendous success of EFI's print MIS solutions. The keynote speakers are:
