Press release from the issuing company

New Duratex EcoClear wide-format rigid media is a 100% recyclable clear plastic offering excellent ink adhesion

Elmwood Park, NJ – It’s easy to see why Agfa Graphics’ Duratex line of wide-format media remains the industry leader. At SGIA, Agfa will expand the line with the introduction of Duratex EcoClear, a see-through, high performance, easy to use clear rigid plastic with excellent ink adhesion. Duratex EcoClear is on display at Agfa Graphics booth (#3127) at SGIA Expo being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from November 4–6.

“Duratex EcoClear is ideal for POP, retail display graphics and long term interior and exterior signage because it is durable and transparent,” said Tony Lampariello, national rigid media manager, Agfa Graphics US. “This thermoplastic material is easily fabricated and is 100% recyclable with outstanding optical clarity. High quality EcoClear is stable, it resists yellowing and hazing yet EcoClear is competitively priced.”

Available in 48” x 96” sheets up to 6mm (.236”) thick, Duratex EcoClear is ideal for vending equipment signage and is compatible with all flatbed UV digital printers and traditional screen print systems.

Agfa Graphics is the largest supplier in North America of flexible and rigid substrates to the graphics communications industry. With a skilled team of application specialists technically trained to support the vast inkjet media portfolio, only Agfa can provide ongoing printing and installation guidance as a value-add to its comprehensive inkjet media line.

The Agfa Graphics booth (#3127) will have Duratex EcoClear samples on display while spotlighting many wide-format printing engines and workflow at the 2015 SGIA Expo. SGIA is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from November 4–6.
