Pitman Company to Resell the ICS Remote Director Proofing System
Press release from the issuing company
New York, NY; May 2004 – Integrated Color Solutions (ICS)—the technology leader in providing color management solutions to industries where color accuracy is critical—has named Pitman Company to resell the ICS award-winning Remote Director Monitor-Based Contract Proofing System and the ICS PressOK hardware option to the graphic arts community. Pitman Company, the leading independent North American graphic arts supplier, will begin selling the Remote Director systems immediately.
Remote Director is the first SWOP Certified Monitor-Based Contract Proofing System. A growing number of SWOP Certifications and broadening distribution of the product articulates the ICS philosophy of increasing versatility in the marketplace and reducing the time and money spent on traditional hard proofing methods.
“Accurate soft proofing has been the missing piece in the digital workflow,” said Larry D’Amico, Pitman Vice President of Sales. “ICS fills that void with SWOP-certified display proofing and a host of complementary features. The benefits of this type of soft proofing are significant. The speed, efficiency and, most importantly, the ROI on this product is tremendous.”
Commenting on the Pitman relationship, ICS President and CEO Jeffery Silverman stated: “The partnership with Pitman gives us the opportunity to further the Remote Director presence across North America. Pitman—widely known for impeccable customer service, solid client relationships and an impressive product portfolio—is a great asset to ICS and our vision of helping companies to increase productivity while lowering costs through an all digital workflow. We are delighted to have Pitman represent the Remote Director brand throughout this large and increasingly receptive market.”
