EFI MicroPress job clustering server provides a powerful digital prepress and production workflow management solution for optimizing productivity for industry-leading Print-On-Demand engines.
MicroPress Universal Servers easily integrate into existing environments, making an immediate productivity impact with advanced make-ready tools, optimized job throughput and delivering unmatched high quality output. EFI MicroPress workflow with extremely productive Post- RIP Digital Make Ready tools and the ability to drive multiple Aficio 2238C engines delivers productivity and flexibility to Ricoh's Print-on-Demand customers.

The Ricoh Aficio 2238C is conveniently configured to handle the typical range of office tasks right out of the box – copying, printing and scanning are all standard features for this high quality engine. The Aficio 2238C handles paper sizes up to 12 x 18 inches and comes standard with an input capacity of 1,100 sheets or an optional loading capacity tray that handles up to 3,100 sheets. The Aficio 2238C is also a document hub enabling users to distribute scanned documents right from the engine.
The EFI MicroPress and Ricoh Aficio 2238C printing solution will be available to customers in June 2004.
