Danka to Provide Technical Services for Customers of HP

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--May 10, 2004-- Danka Business Systems PLC today announced that its U.S. TechSource(TM) business will be used to provide technical services for HP's newest line of advanced multi-function peripherals (MFPs). As part of a national contract, Danka will be available to assist HP's service force with full nationwide coverage as HP extends its imaging technology into the digital copier space. The agreement names TechSource(TM) as a service partner for the HP LaserJet 9055 and 9065 multi-function printers when sold directly by HP. "This agreement expands our relationship with HP in a significant way," stated Todd Mavis, Danka's Chief Executive Officer. "We're pleased that HP has selected us as a service partner for direct sales of their new high-volume multi-function systems. This agreement reflects our growing success in leveraging our highly regarded services expertise and infrastructure into new areas with our TechSource initiative."
