X-Rite Calibration Solution Now Available for Xerox Copier-Printers
Press release from the issuing company
DUSSELDORF, Germany--May 10, 2004-- X-Rite's new DTP32 Series II printer calibration solution for fast, accurate color control is now available for Xerox Corporation's award winning DocuColor line of copier-printers. Xerox will offer this solution as an option for new and existing mid-volume DocuColor printers, including the DocuColor 3535(TM) and DocuColor 12(TM) color copier-printers.
Introduced in March, the DTP32 Series II has no buttons to press. It senses the color calibration test sheet automatically and pulls it through the instrument in a matter of seconds. In less than a minute, a four-color printer or copier can be fully calibrated for consistent and accurate color control, regardless of the printing environment. This is four times faster than any color calibration solution on the market.
"This premier offering is yet another solution Xerox provides to help our DocuColor customers produce consistent, high quality color prints every time, while benefiting from maximum printer uptime," said Rob Stewart, vice president of worldwide marketing, Xerox Channels Group.
"X-Rite is excited to be working with industry leaders like Xerox," said James Weaver, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. "Together we are revolutionizing color management in the graphic arts workflow, developing new color solutions that streamline the process and create more value for the customer. This partnership clearly demonstrates this strategy."
The DTP32 Series II is available today through X-Rite at www.xrite.com or by calling 1-800-248-9748. Demonstrations of the product will be available at Drupa, including Xerox's stand in Hall 13 and X-Rite's Stand A61 in Hall 4.
