Itasca, IL - Xeikon, an innovator in digital color printing technology, announced today that it will be exhibiting at the PINE Industry Awards Gala, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the graphic communications industry in the New England area.

PINE (Printing Industries of New England), is a regional trade association with more than 125 years of service to the graphic communications industry providing resources, advocacy, and education to its members. The Industry Awards Gala takes place Thursday, April 16, at 5:00 p.m. ET, at the Newton Marriott in Newton, MA.

About 300 attendees are expected at the gala, which will feature several awards honoring individuals and companies, and a showcase of vendor exhibits.

Xeikon will have a vendor table, where representatives from the company will be available to discuss its digital printing solutions for document and commercial printers.

Attendees will be able to discover the advantages of the Xeikon 8000 Series of presses which are specifically developed for the document and commercial printing market. The presses can handle a variety of substrates and offer an unbeatable combination of format flexibility, print quality and productivity. In addition, they can also learn about the most productive digital color press in the Xeikon portfolio - the Xeikon 9800, which raises the bar of quality and versatility to an entirely new level.

The Xeikon 9800, which is designed for high volume production, offers a print resolution of 1200 x 3600 dpi, a variable web width of up to 20.2 inches and unlimited imaging length. The Xeikon 9800 uses a uniquely adapted dry toner, QA-CD, which can deliver speeds of up to 70.5 feet per minute at a reduced cost.

"New England is a very important market for us, and the PINE Industry Awards Gala is a great opportunity to showcase our products to some of the most innovative graphic communication companies in the region," said Todd Blumsack, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Xeikon America, Inc. "PINE members who are attending the event and are interested in learning more about our latest solutions should definitely stop by our exhibit."
