Community Service Award Nominations Opened

Press release from the issuing company

Deadline to Nominate YOUR Hero:  April 15, 2015

Amherst, NY and Alexandria, VA - Printing Industries Alliance and IDEAlliance® have opened nominations for their 2015 Zenger Community Service Award.

The Zenger Community Service Award honors a graphic communications professional who has demonstrated an exceptional community service.  These individuals may inspire us to be more than we are; make our community a better place to live; or serve our country in ways that make us proud.  The Award is not based on business position or title and is meant to recognize an employee at any level of the industry. Nominate your company’s hero by completing this form by April 15, 2015.

The Zenger Community Service Award is named for John Peter Zenger, a New York City printer whose arrest, imprisonment, trial and acquittal in 1735 laid the foundation for “Freedom of the Press” in America.

A $1,000 contribution will be made to the 2015 Zenger honoree’s charity of choice on behalf of IDEAlliance and Printing Industries Alliance.  The Zenger Community Service Award will be awarded at the 2015 Franklin Luminaire Awards slated for October 1, 2015 at The Lighthouse, Chelsea Piers, New York, NY. For further information or to submit a nomination for consideration, visit www.PIAlliance.org/zenger2015 or contact Printing Industries Alliance at 716.691.3211.
