WAVE upgrades B.Media Content Management Software

Press release from the issuing company

LAKE MARY, FL., April 30, 2004 – WAVE Corporation, an asset and content management software development and engineering services company, today announced its catalog and retail production software, B.Media, will support Quark 6, InDesign 2.0, and Mac OS X beginning with Version 5.0.  The new version is scheduled to be released during the summer of 2004. "Our support of the latest versions of industry standard production layout applications like Quark and InDesign ensures that our customers will continue to have the latest and most productive tools available to use with their content database system,” stated Dan Macaluso, engineering director of WAVE Corporation.  He continued, “We are also pleased to announce the addition of a native client for Mac OS X in B.Media 5.0.”   WAVE Corporation also today announced a compelling program that will allow businesses to easily switch to B.Media for their multi-channel publishing efforts. This offer is especially relevant for companies caught in the middle of the on-going consolidation within the catalog and retail production solution environment.  Numerous businesses are realizing that competitive technology providers have either already discontinued supporting their customers, are significantly downsizing, or reorganizing their efforts.   “WAVE Corporation, in business since 1987, is a stable and financially sound company, that currently provides software and engineering services support to over 400 companies worldwide,” stated Ward Wright, WAVE’s Managing Director.  "This program is focused on developing an effective plan to migrate from existing catalog production systems to the B.Media multi-channel publishing solution, while minimizing risks to ongoing production activities.”  Mr. Wright concluded, “Our customers will attest that WAVE doesn’t make empty promises." As part of the program, WAVE Corporation will offer a discount of fifty percent on B.Media license fees. In addition, data migration, implementation, and customization services are available through WAVE’s internal team of B.Media experts, as well as through its global network of resellers and distributors. The Competitive Cross Grade Program will run through the end of October, 2004. WAVE will be showcasing B.Media at the Annual Catalog Conference in Chicago, IL, from May 3-5 at the Lakeside Center, Booth # 900, as well as at drupa in Düsseldorf, Germany from May 6-19, in Hall 8, Stand 82A07.
