Xplor International and Acadami™ to launch Electronic Document Body of Knowledge Training Program

Press release from the issuing company

Lutz, FL - Xplor International, the association for the electronic document industry, today announced a partnership with acadami™, a leading provider of education to the Transaction Document Industry, to develop and provide a training program based on the recently released Xplor Electronic Document Body of Knowledge.

Xplor International is a not-for-profit association that provides educational events and programs that support the transaction and customer communications industry for its members and the industry at large.

The new program is designed around the principles and practices found within the Xplor Guide to the Electronic Document Body of Knowledge™ (EDBOK). Courses and exams are based upon Acadami’s highly successful Transaction Document Specialist School, updated with the contents of the newly released EDBOK Guide.

The five-day training course will also provide an effective way to earn an Electronic Document Associate (EDA) designation within the Xplor Electronic Document Professional™ (EDP) Program.

The Electronic Document BOK program will be developed and conducted by Acadami instructors and will include courses on: EDBOK Production Workflow, EDBOK Lifecycle, and Transaction Document Best Practices.

”We are delighted to strengthen our affiliation with Xplor International. We both recognize the value that the EDBOK Guide provides the industry. It will allow us to standardize the confusing and often misused terminology in business planning, development and operations documentation,” says Bill Broddy m-edp, president of Acadami Group. “By providing complementary training, we can help organizations realize incremental improvements that increase efficiency and drive results.”

The program will be launched at Xploration® 15, being held in Orlando, Florida April 14-16 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive and will part of the standard registration fee. Additional information on Xploration® 15 is available at www.cvent.com/d/l4qklv

Announcements of 2015 class schedule dates and cities will be announced in March of 2015.

“Xplor and acadami have worked together for many years. This new agreement fills a void in the industry for a complete baseline understanding of the electronic document process,” says Skip Henk, President/CEO of Xplor International. “Their programming and methodology has resulted in 285 individuals successfully receiving their Electronic Document Associate (EDA) designation.”
