Boston, MA - Semper International, the leading placement firm for skilled help in the graphic arts, marketing and printing industry, announces that David Regan, CEO, has participated in a Marketing Tech Talk podcast with co-hosts W. Jeffrey Rice, Digital Marketing Consultant, and Meghan Lockwood, Content Marketing Strategist, as they discuss the latest trend in staffing: how to identify and utilize ‘Techcreatives’.

“Techcreatives are the doers, the ones who take creative concepts and shepherd those ideas into reality,” notes Regan. The interview explores the following question: ‘How do I get the right team to successfully integrate into an ever-expanding digital world with the skills, insight and energy to create opportunities to increase margin through greater efficiency, new offerings, or customer service?’”

The 34-minute Marketing Tech Talk podcast discusses critical skills a development team needs to drive margins amidst this new climate of new technology and rapid innovation. In doing so, it shows how businesses can arm themselves to better compete—and how finding the right person, who can take new ideas to create something that the world has never seen, is the only way to drive business profits and set a business apart from its competition. Regan explains how to identify, hire, and inspire Techcreatives.

Regan draws upon his 20 years of staffing experience as CEO of Semper International, the nation’s largest and most trusted supplier of skilled staff for the print, pre-media, graphic and interactive media industry. Dave cut his teeth early in printing, working at—and ultimately managing—his family’s small commercial print shop. Always an entrepreneur, during that time he founded several small startups, including one of the first Mac rental companies and a Boston-based bulletin board network, precursor to today’s community forums. Regan is passionate about finding Techcreatives, whether for clients or for his own business, because he knows these individuals create products and services that generate greater profit margins and enable companies to continue to grow.

In ten years of working in the email marketing space, W. Jeffrey (Jeff) Rice, Digital Marketing Consultant, has worked on behalf of an end user, email service provider (ESP) and a marketing research firm, using communication tools designed for companies ranging from SMB’s to global enterprises. His eclectic background in sports entertainment, global manufacturing and software startups, has allowed him to excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully commute objectives, drawing out subject matter expertise, and driving effective campaigns. Rice previously was Sr. Research Analyst at MarketingSherpa, examining email and mobile marketing’s best practices. He has authored a number of influential publications on the topic, including the 2012 Email Handbook and The Email Benchmark Report. In addition, Jeff has conducted live full-day strategic email certification classes with marketers from major brand owners at the ESP User Conferences, Email Summits, and regional workshops.
