Dscoop is proud to support new global HP Inkjet Web Press user community
Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative) today announced that it will help foster the first annual conference for a new HP user group taking place March 4-5, 2015 in Washington, D.C., immediately preceding the North American DscoopX conference at the Gaylord National Convention Center. Jetcomm is the graphic arts industry’s first global user group for HP Inkjet Web Press solutions customers. Jetcomm was formed through the cooperation of HP and a group of leading inkjet-enabled production printers from around the world.
“We are excited to be a part of establishing this new community within the HP graphic arts community,” said John Rogers, Dscoop’s Global Executive Director. “While some HP inkjet web press owners have attended many Dscoop conferences and have participated in the organization, Jetcomm provides an opportunity for them to have access to content that is more specifically focused on their businesses, with content that will help them continue to grow those businesses in the future.”
What is Jetcomm?
Jetcomm is a global community of HP Inkjet Web Press customers who have united to learn from their peers, build trusted relationships in other markets and inspire one another with ideas and resources to enable business growth.
What to Expect at Jetcomm
This first-of-its-kind conference will provide a dynamic inkjet-focused learning and networking opportunity. Attendees will meet with and learn from peers, HP inkjet experts, media and solutions experts and industry analysts. A site visit to a print operation with an HP T230 Inkjet Web Press is also planned as part of the event.
HP Inkjet Web Press owners will be notified via email when registration for the Jetcomm conference is available in early December. The opportunity to join the customer site visit is limited and will be available on a first-come/first-served basis.
Paul Gardner, director of innovation at Hudson Printing Company, and Jetcomm committee chair, added, "With more than 150 HP inkjet web presses installed across the globe, now seemed like the right time to launch the first worldwide production inkjet users’ group. Nearly a dozen of the brightest people in the world of production inkjet have volunteered their time and talents as members of the Jetcomm steering committee. We sincerely appreciate their efforts in launching this valuable and unique organization."
