Official marketing launch of the MGI printing and finishing solutions by Konica Minolta in Japan

MELBOURNE, FL -  A gathering was held in Tokyo bringing together MGI Digital Graphic Technology and Konica Minolta Japan, to announce that the MGI line of printing and finishing equipment will be henceforth distributed in Japan by Konica Minolta. Showing their strong commitment to the MGI solutions, the first models have arrived in Konica Minolta Tokyo’s showroom.

“This is an important step in our strategic relationship, further bringing together Konica Minolta and MGI”, declared Edmond Abergel MGI Group President, who made a special trip to Tokyo along with the MGI Group Vice Presidents.

“The MGI solutions perfectly complement ­Konica Minolta’s equipment. Whether it is the MGI Meteor line of digital presses, which have the ability to print on paper, plastic and envelopes, or the MGI JETvarnish digital spot UV coater; our equipment offers a unique, added value that enables our clients to enhance their work,” added Edmond Abergel.

In addition, M. Arai, General Sales Manager of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Japan, concludes, “We are very honored that we are becoming an exclusive MGI dealer in the Japanese territory”.
