Containerboard production was 3.4 percent lower compared to August 2014, on account of the fewer production days, but 4.7 percent higher than September of last year and 0.7 percent higher year-to-date. The month-over-month average daily production was flat. The containerboard operating rate for September rose to 97.7 percent from August’s 96.2 percent.
