ICS Announces Remote Director Demonstrations at Drupa

Press release from the issuing company

New York, NY; April, 2004– Integrated Color Solutions (ICS)—the technology leader in providing color management solutions to industries where color accuracy is critical—has announced that its Remote Director System will be displayed at Print Media Messe–Drupa, Düsseldorf, Germany. The Remote Director Systems, readied for complete demonstrations, will be located with Partners Eizo Nanao Corporation, stand 06/E76, and Graphic Technology, stand 05/A28.  In addition, Remote Director will be the only soft proof entry in the FOGRA remote proofing project, which is designed to create public awareness about the effectiveness of remote proofing. The FOGRA remote proofing project allows attendees to have proofs made at participating manufacturers’ exhibitor booths, collected, then brought to the FOGRA stand to compare accuracy between the collected proofs and the reference proofs, stored from all the participants, along with ISO reference data and measurement data of the proof.  “We are proud to be the only soft proofing system demonstrated for the exhibitors to compare to the reference press sheet located on the FOGRA stand,” said Jeffrey Silverman, ICS President and CEO. "This is a great opportunity for those who have heard about, but have yet to see, the robustness of the Remote Director Accurate Display Contract Proofing System.  In addition to color accuracy, the versatility of the Remote Director display based system enables setting it up at any remote location.”
