Aleyant Pressero W2P Spurs Triple-Digital Online Growth for Brazil’s PrintStore

Press release from the issuing company

Aleyant Systems, an innovative leader in providing robust web-to-print software solutions to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, today announced that PrintStore in Porto Alegre, Brasil, has installed Aleyant Pressero™ and Aleyant eDocBuilder™ solutions to bolster its online business and to set the stage for re-launching a new business focused on small office/home office businesses.

“We had a home-grown Flash-based system we were using since 2003,” said Eduardo Pelizzon, the company’s Online Business Manager. “We had outgrown its capabilities and needed a more modern and robust solution. We looked at about 25 different options, and Pressero was the best of the best for our needs.”

Pelizzon reports that online orders have increased by 2.5X since he installed Pressero. “Online orders now comprise about 20% of our business,” he added.

PrintStore primarily serves dealers, franchises and internal teams operations throughout Brasil. Pelizzon explains, “We support the headquarters operations with business cards, letterheads and other items, but we also supply the needs of individual stores. This includes such things as brochures, sell sheets, manuals, catalogs, folders—whatever they need to operate the stores. This allows the dealers/franchisees flexibility but with the templates we use within Pressero, headquarters can control branding and certain aspects of the content as well as monitor who is ordering what. It is a win-win solution for both.

“There are great benefits to our clients, since the system is very user-friendly. We create a customized webstore for each company, and they can have as many users they need. Each user can customize personal data, approve final layout, enter purchase order numbers and take advantage of many other functionalities that make the process safe and fast. Saving time is very important nowadays. Using Pressero-based APS (Advance Printing System) our customers can focus on their core activities and leave the rest with PrintStore. Our client base is composed of small, medium and multinational companies.”

Another aspect of Pressero that has been a boon to Pelizzon and his dealer/franchise customers is the ability to generate customized reports. “With these reports,” he says, “dealers and franchisors are able to map individual usage of provided materials against performance as one indicator of how they might help certain dealer sales professionals and franchisees perform better.”

Pelizzon also points out that Pressero allows him to process low-cost orders such as business cards at a profitable price point. “Business cards are often the first place we start with a new client,” he says, “and then the business grows from there.”

“It has been a pleasure working with Eduardo and his team,” said Greg Salzman, Aleyant’s President. “It is rewarding to see the business growth Pressero has helped them achieve, and we were able to quickly make the necessary adjustments to meet the needs of the Brasilian market.”

Pelizzon is not resting on his laurels. “We have lots of exciting plans, including leveraging Pressero’s connectivity to our HP Indigo presses and launching a new business targeted at the small business community here in Brasil and export to other parts of Latin América. The future is bright, and Pressero is playing a huge role in our continuing success story.”
