Press release from the issuing company
Amsterdam - Mimaki, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers, is supporting exciting growth opportunities in the African region with a huge presence at FESPA Africa 2014 from July 2-4 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Among the extensive portfolio of wide format solutions featured by Mimaki Europe and South African partner GSW on Booth H3 D26 are the newest additions - the JFX200-2513 compact UV printer, the JV5-320DS sublimation printer and the JV300-130/160 solvent/dyesub inkjet wide format printer family. The stand of Mimaki Europe is located in H3, booth D26. The company will be represented by Mr. S. Sagane, Managing Director Mimaki Europe (Executive Vice President to the Board), Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA and Mr. Ronald Van den Broek, General Manager Sales EMEA.
“We are delighted to be a part of FESPA Africa 2014, which also incorporates Sign Africa and Visual Communications Africa Expo,” said Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA of Mimaki Europe. “From long-standing experience we know how the FESPA series of exhibitions puts us in front of key target audiences. We are excited to show these visitors the capabilities and business benefits of our new systems, which were developed to address the key market pressures printers are facing.”
“The region has become very active with more and more companies keen to see how they can expand their services in the wide format arena.” comments Robert Franko, Managing Director of GSW. “Much more attention is being paid to quality, productivity and cost efficiency and we are excited to show how the Mimaki systems decisively address each and every one of these points. We've been a proud member of the Mimaki family for years and hold strong beliefs in the solidity of their innovations.”
Among those on show is the JFX200-2513. It can easily fit into facilities of almost any size and its variable dot function ensures less granular and higher quality prints by jetting three ink dot sizes at once. It features white ink for brilliant images, compelling backlits, and other items printed on transparent materials. It includes two different ink types that support a wide range of materials and applications. They are the LH-100, a hard UV cure ink with high rub and chemical resistance with excellent color fidelity and the LUS-150, an affordable UV cure ink with suppleness that extends to 150%. The clear varnish type ink is also available for this printer.
Ideal for flags, sign, display, textile and soft signage segments the JV5-320DS sublimation printer features ink that is more affordable than conventional ink, as well as increased print speed for polyester fabrics.
The JV300-130/160 is a high speed solvent inkjet wide format printer family. Extremely flexible, they can be used for both solvent and water-based sublimation printing. This makes return on investment and the profitable development of new applications faster and easier than ever before for sign and display graphics businesses of all
sizes. They are suitable for a wide range of applications including outdoor signage, posters, interior decorating and vehicle wrapping and reeled in many visitors to the stand. The JV300 series printers are currently the fastest solvent printers in its class with speeds up to 105 sqm/h.
