April 7-- HP will offer an experience to remember at DRUPA 2004, May 6-19, in Düsseldorf, Germany by taking visitors on a dynamic journey demonstrating how HP is helping companies all over the world grow their businesses and become more profitable. The experience will include: · A theatre presentation, scheduled to run five times daily, with a tour to an advertising agency, a reprographics house, a commercial printer and a label printer, all equipped with HP products for graphic arts solutions. Each “passenger” will leave with unique samples of HP technology that underscore the opportunities available today through digital content creation and production. · A product arcade, featuring live demonstrations of HP products. The press is designed for high throughput and productivity, and boasts substantial paper handling and ink innovations. Based on the proven HP Indigo press 3000, the HP Indigo press 3050 is enhanced with reliability improvements and attractive pricing, making it easy to invest in high-quality digital printing. Throughput is geared to ensure fast time-to-market, even in the most demanding production environments. Both the HP Indigo press 5000 and HP Indigo press 3050 will be sold with one year of free service and extremely competitive service pricing after the coverage period. The entry level HP Indigo press 1000 provides more quality and functionality than any other digital printing solution in its class. Features include high resolution imaging, up to 6-colour printing, wide media selection and HP Indigo Yours Truly personalisation software. HP also announces the availability of HP Indigo Printing Paper, affordable papers optimised for reliability and quality when used together with HP Indigo commercial presses. The current portfolio of 11 HP Indigo Printing Papers range from uncoated text and cover to coated text and cover and will continue to expand. Designed for high-volume commercial printing, direct mail and publishing, the 7-colour, web-fed HP Indigo press w3200 offers the fastest throughput and highest productivity in digital colour printing with a print rate of 8,000 A4 colour images per hour. It comes with a range of finishing options that streamline the production and delivery of finished products. The HP Indigo press ws4000 is the most successful digital label press in the world. It is clearly accepted as an established technology, with customers making multiple purchases, and running the press on a three shift, round-the-clock basis. The HP Indigo press ws4000 has a four colour throughput of 16m/min (52 ft/min) making it ideal for run lengths up to 2000 meters – a volume that accounts for 65% of all label printing jobs.
