Neopost Donates Mailing System to the Lance Armstrong Foundation

Press release from the issuing company

April 9, 2004 -- Neopost, the worldwide provider of mailing, addressing, document handling and mail management systems, has donated a state-of-the-art digital mailing system to the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). The mailing system will enable LAF to process large quantities of newsletters, donation envelopes, acknowledgement letters and referral information, helping to promote the foundation’s mission and expand its outreach efforts. Rachel Armbruster, director of development for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, explains, “There are individuals and businesses that offer their products or services to aid foundations like ours, and too often their deeds go unnoticed. Neopost’s valuable, in-kind donation allows our staff to focus more on LAF’s mission of improving the quality of life for those living with, through, and beyond cancer. We are extremely fortunate to receive such a generous gift from Neopost. The digital mail system is a sophisticated piece of equipment that our organization could not otherwise afford. Our volunteers dedicate their valuable time to our cause and now, with our new system, we can use our staff more effectively.” Carl Amacker, vice president of marketing for Neopost, states, “At Neopost we are committed to helping the Lance Armstrong Foundation achieve its mission to improve the lives of cancer patients and survivors. It is an honor and privilege to be associated with this organization, and we look forward to helping LAF support its cause on both the local and national levels.”
