Xerox Names Chief Operating Officer for Global Services Division

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--April 28, 2004-- Xerox Corporation has named John M. Kelly as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Xerox Global Services, effective immediately. In this newly created position, Kelly will oversee global services development and delivery, North America sales operations, go-to-market initiatives and technology. The formation of the chief operating officer position, according to Thomas J. Dolan, president, Xerox Global Services, signifies the company's further investment in a consultative, services-led business model. Prior to joining Xerox, Kelly founded and served as president and chief executive officer of Niteo Partners Inc., now a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Solutions America. In addition to leading the strategic technology consulting and systems integration firm, Kelly has held key leadership positions in Cap Gemini's Americas and European consulting services operations. "John's services experience, along with his global operations background and relationships with Fortune 500 companies, are valuable assets that will help us respond to the growing demands for Xerox's consulting services and document management solutions," said Dolan. Kelly, 43, holds a master's degree in engineering and operations research from the University of Texas at Austin.
