Bell and Howell Partners with Experian to Offer Small Business Marketers Self-Service Marketing List Rental

Press release from the issuing company

Partnership expands Bell and Howell’s Go Data™ solution suite of Web-based data-quality and list-enhancement tools

New York, N.Y., and Durham, N.C.Bell and Howell today announced the addition of marketing list rental capabilities to its Go Data™ solution, a 100-percent self-service data-quality and list-enhancement tool, through a partnership with Experian Marketing Services, a global provider of integrated consumer insight, targeting, data quality and cross-channel marketing. The partnership of the two companies gives marketers real-time access to a robust customer acquisition database of potential consumer and business customer listings compiled by Experian Marketing Services and integrated into Go Data’s intuitive interface.

“Extending the capabilities of Go Data from a tool to cleanse and enhance existing contact lists to include acquiring new targets was a natural fit. Experian Marketing Services has the most accurate and comprehensive repository of consumer marketing information available and has been a trusted partner of businesses and consumers for more than four decades. By choosing Experian for this partnership, Bell and Howell customers now have access to scalable data and related data-quality solutions in real time from a single Web-based access point,” said Steve Lopez, Vice President and General Manager, Bell and Howell, Data Marketing Services. “This robust database will help companies and marketers improve return on investment for any multichannel marketing campaign that they may be developing or executing.”

Marketers will find four different U.S. contact databases for key purchasing groups from Experian Marketing Services integrated into Go Data, including:

  • ConsumerViewSM, the leading household-level consumer marketing database, covering approximately 299 million consumers in 116 million households
  • U.S. Business Database, with more than 14 million active businesses and nearly 200,000 additions each month
  • New Movers DatabaseSM and New Homeowners DatabasesSM

“The integration of Experian Marketing Services’ robust list builder application programming interface (API) into the Go Data solution will provide customers with a best-in-class marketing platform to help grow their business,” said Scott Sheehan, Vice President for Small Business at Experian Marketing Services. “This relationship leverages the synergies of two great organizations to provide outstanding value to small businesses.”

Go Data was launched in 2013 and provides 100-percent cloud-based data quality and list enhancement using an intuitive Web-based interface that lets users submit jobs in just a few minutes. It includes 24-7 access to Bell and Howell’s Data Marketing Services offerings, including NCOALink®, DSF, DPV®, Proprietary Change of Address, Email Verification & Hygiene, Rooftop Level Geocoding and List Suppression.

Adding list-rental capability into this model was the next logical evolution in continuing to provide self-service access to empower more effective communication for businesses of any size. The easy-to-use point-and-click interface allows users to select quickly from as many as 1,000 attributes per record. The ability to filter on key consumer data including demographic, behavioral, census, life-event and realty/housing situation information means highly specific, targeted lists are only a few clicks away.
