Pitney Bowes Software Certified by the USPS NCOALink Program
Press release from the issuing company
STAMFORD, Conn., April 5 -- Pitney Bowes Inc announced the release of ForwardTrak Plus, the fastest Move Update software available today. ForwardTrak Plus allows organizations to access the latest change-of-address information provided by the NCOALink database efficiently and effectively and is targeted for high volume mailers.
"When you are updating 25 million records and you need to get the mail out today, speed becomes a factor," said Jeff Stangle, Senior Product Manager, Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technology.
ForwardTrak Plus saves users time in the mailing process because it is an open system with features & options that give the user control over performance. For example, while competitors Move Update tools require the user or the system to format the data, ForwardTrak Plus can take any type of data format.
In addition, ForwardTrak Plus is able to standardize address information before accessing the NCOALink database by seamlessly interacting with Finalist, the leading address matching software, which leverages the Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS(TM)).
Pitney Bowes also offers ForwardTrak Plus with a high-speed connectivity option that allows you to perform parallel processing for the transfer of data to and from a mainframe to boost data transfer up to 17 times faster than a standard FTP connection.
ForwardTrak Plus can run concurrently on multiple computers at a single site. Through site licensing, change-of-address data is more accessible and reliability is increased through expanded system redundancy.
"Over 40 million people move in the US every year. That's 17 percent of the population. Every old address is a potential 'lost' customer or prospecting opportunity," said Stangle.
"What's more, the USPS requires First-Class mailers to perform a Move Update process in order to maintain eligibility for postal discounts, and they will audit to ensure compliance. Move Update software is a must have if you do any significant business by mail. ForwardTrak Plus' industry leading performance makes staying connected to customers fast, easy and efficient."
Pitney Bowes has been certified by the USPS as an NCOALink Interface Developer and NCOALink Interface Distributor, enabling Pitney Bowes to market ForwardTrak Plus to both end-user organizations and service providers. ForwardTrak Plus software can support all three USPS NCOALink license types -- Full Service Providers, Limited Service Providers and End User Mailers.
"For rapid, reliable deployment of your Move Update solution, call on Pitney Bowes Professional Services. We have the human and technical resources to implement ForwardTrak Plus efficiently and with the fastest possible ROI. We'll also help you with the USPS licensing process," Stangle suggested.
