Press release from the issuing company
Toronto, ON – Acadami Group Inc. is pleased to announce that Wendy MacMillan, Neil Merchant and Rebecca Rodgers received their Master EDP levels. The Acadami faculty now has 5 Master EDPs, the largest group of M-EDPs in the industry.
Master EDP (M-EDP) is the highest level in the Xplor Electronic Document Professional (EDP®) certification program. To become a Master, you must be able to publicly reference examples of expertise within an area of the Electronic Document Body of Knowledge[1]. You must also have at least 10 years in the electronic document industry (at least 5 as an EDP).
Wendy MacMillan was conferred as a Master of Development Processes. Her publicly referenced Masterwork was the Project Design section[2] of the EDBOK Guide™, which was made publicly available at Xploration 14. Her publicly referenced secondary work was the QA and Test Module of the Acadami Transaction Document Specialist School (TDSS), the abstract for which is publicly available in the TDSS Syllabus on the Acadami.org website.
Neil Merchant was also conferred as a Master of Development Processes. His publicly referenced Masterwork was the Test section[3] of the EDBOK Guide. His secondary work was the publicly-available-for-purchase “ADF: a critical analysis and state of implementation in the UK” report, which he co-authored.
Rebecca Rodgers was conferred as a Master of Operations Management. Her publicly referenced Masterwork was the Inserting section[4] of the EDBOK Guide. Her secondary work was the Launch for Production[5] section of the EDBOK Guide.
“We are delighted that the EDP Program has recognized the expertise amongst our faculty. Employers can take comfort in knowing that their employees are being trained by the highest level of experts in the industry,” says William Broddy m-edp, president of Acadami Group Inc. “It is also gratifying that their Masterworks were Sections of the EDBOK Guide. All Acadami training expands upon the material within the EDBOK. It is not coincidental that all Acadami instructors contributed to the creation of the recently released Guide; and that Wendy, Neil and Rebecca were recognized for their efforts.”
