The National Printing Ink Research Institute (NPIRI) Presents the 2014 Printing Ink Technology Course

Press release from the issuing company

ATLANTA, Ga. - One of the joint efforts presented by NAPIM member ink companies and Technical Associate Members (TAMs) through National Printing Ink Research Institute (NPIRI) is the Printing Ink Technology Course. The NPIRI “Summer Course”, to be held July 13-19, 2014 at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI, is widely recognized as the pre-eminent printing ink training course. It is designed to provide comprehensive, in-depth yet flexible coverage of the printing ink formulation. It is appropriate for those in technical, sales, marketing, production and administrative roles in the ink industry. It is also very useful for anyone who wants to better understand ink’s role in the print and packaging industry. Printers of all types will also benefit from the concepts covered in this course.

The course is designed to bring new graphic arts employees throughout the supply chain up to speed quickly, as well as provide more experienced employees the fundamental understanding and background necessary to improve, update and expand their knowledge base and skill sets. Attendees can expect an ‘immersion’ type environment in which introductory and advanced concepts are reinforced with multiple practical/hands-on applications in an informal and interactive format. This course is also an exceptional value among training courses of its type.

A notebook containing a comprehensive set of notes is provided to serve as a working tool after returning to the company. This book is exclusive to course attendees. The course is presented by industry experts from both ink companies and suppliers who know the language of the industry and the fundamental science.

This course has been conducted by the National Printing Ink Research Institute (NPIRI) since the mid-1960s and is presented by industry experts from both ink companies and suppliers who know the language of the industry and the fundamental science. Over time, it has been modified to include newer technologies and instructional techniques but one thing hasn't changed - the all but unanimous positive reviews from its attendees.
