Crawford Technologies Honoring the Life of Chuck Forman

Press release from the issuing company

CrawfordTech asking staff and colleagues donate to cancer charities in memory of beloved employee

Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies is honoring the life of Chuck Forman this holiday season through the creation of a holiday employee fundraiser. CrawfordTech will match all money donated by its employees to any cancer-related charity of their choice within the country they reside (Canada, USA or United Kingdom).

“For many years, Chuck was a Senior Support Analyst and Trainer with Crawford Technologies and an active member of Xplor International. He served on the Xplor Northeast Region board for over 10 years, most of the time serving as Treasurer. Chuck lost his battle with cancer on October 2, 2013.

“Chuck Forman brought so much to the industry, was a wonderful human being and this is an incredibly sad loss for our company and the industry," said Ernie Crawford, President of Crawford Technologies. "We feel compelled to honor him in the most meaningful ways we can think of.”

Before Chuck's passing, Crawford Technologies created an annual scholarship in his name through EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation). The “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies Scholarship” was created to honor the contributions Chuck Forman made throughout his career towards Crawford Technologies and the industry. The scholarship is awarded annually to a bright, up-and-coming, full-time student committed to pursuing a career in the document management and graphic communications marketplace.

Crawford Technologies is encouraging anyone who knew Chuck Forman to consider donating to a cancer-related charity of their choice in honor of his life.
