The Zenger Group held an official ribbon cutting to open its new plant and headquarters at .777 East Park Drive in the Town of Tonawanda, NY today [Thursday, September 26th, 2013] at 10:00am.
The 127,000 square foot facility was acquired by Zenger Development (the real estate arm of Zenger Group) from VWR Education in September 2012.
The facility was upgraded with new power service, a complete new production space build-out including new HVAC and environmental systems, and additional office and conference spaces. The project also included the purchase and installation of a new 8-color, 41” Heidelberg XL106 printing press.

Zenger Boncraft plant in Orchard Park, and the 15,000 sq ft. Zenger Boncraft plant in Hamburg, NY completed their relocations in May 2013.
The Ribbon Cutting was officiated by Peter Rivera, New York State Commissioner of Labor representing Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Additional speakers included Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, Joseph Emminger, Tonawanda Deputy Supervisor and Dottie Gallagher-Cohen, President of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. The Ribbon cutting was followed by a reception and plant tour.
The building, upgrades and press purchase represent a $7.2 mm investment by Zenger Group and helps retain 110 existing jobs with Zenger and 52 existing jobs with building tenants. Zenger Group also plans to add 25 new jobs over the next five years. The project was supported by Empire State Development Corp., Erie County Industrial Development Agency, Town of Tonawanda, National Grid and the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. M&T Bank financed the building and press acquisition.
