GE Richards Graphic Supplies Announces Appointment by Xeikon America as a reseller for ThermoFlexX CtP

Press release from the issuing company

GE Richards has signed an agreement to partner with Xeikon
America to become a dealer for ThermoFlexX, the CtP device for
letterpress and flexo plates. ThermoFlexX imaging is the ideal
compliment to the GE Richards portfolio of Kodak’s new
Digital Miraclon plates and optimized with Printergy and Pandora
solutions for the packaging industry.

GE Richards will showcase the system capabilities specifically
addressing the needs of UV flexo printers looking to minimize
imaging to on-press times. Water wash PVA letterpress
technology allows printers to image, wash, dry and be on press
in 30 minutes compared to conventional solvent flexo
technologies that can be as long as 90 to 120 minutes.

GE Richards field sales and service staff work out of 7
office/warehouse locations nationally and will support the
Xeikon team for systems optimization.

Richard Snyder, GE Richards Packaging Manager says: “GE
Richards now has an opportunity to take a leadership position
in digital letterpress printing with two strategic partners;
Xeikon for imaging technology and Kodak with the well
established Miraclon letterpress plates complimented by
workflow from Printergy and Pandora.”

GE Richards personnel will be available in the Xeikon booth at
PRINT13 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, Sept 8-12th, Booth 841.
