Presstek Appoints Steven N. Rappaport to Board of Directors

HUDSON, N.H., Nov. 10 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, today announced the appointment of Steven N. Rappaport to Presstek's Board of Directors. Rappaport is currently a partner of RZ Capital, LLC, a private equity investment firm. Before becoming a partner at RZ Capital, Rappaport was director, president and principal of Loanet, Inc., an on-line realtime accounting service used by brokers and institutions in support of their domestic and international securities borrowing and lending activities. Loanet, Inc. was acquired by Sunguard Data Systems. Before Loanet, Inc., Rappaport was director and executive vice president of Metallurg, Inc. and president of Sheildalloy Corporation, a subsidiary of Metallurg. Metallurg and Sheildalloy manufacture and sell special alloys used in the steel and aluminum industries. He was also a director and executive vice president of Telerate, Inc. an electronic distributor of financial information, as well as a partner at the general practice law firm of Hartman & Craven in New York. Rappaport received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He holds a J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law and a L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He successfully completed the Uniform C.P.A. Examination in 1971 and became a member of the New York State Bar in 1974. He serves on the boards of directors of several publicly held mutual funds advised by Credit Suisse Asset Management, as well as a number of privately held corporations.
