New architecture enables real-time retrieval of pricing information during purchasing process, eliminates pricing pain points
Aleyant Systems, an innovative leader in providing robust software services to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, and SoftUSE, the developer of Printer’s Plan and a provider of affordable, easy-to-use print MIS solutions, today announced the availability of a new module that integrates Printer’s Plan pricing with Pressero Web-to-print system. This integration solves the dilemma of maintaining price tables separately in Web-to-print and MIS systems. Aleyant will be located in Booth #4648 at the PRINT 13 show, which is scheduled for September 8-12 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Printer’s Plan can be found in Booth #4740.
“Using this architecture, printers no longer need to worry about out-of-date prices or conflicting pricing between their Pressero Web-to-print solution and their Printer’s Plan system,” said Greg Salzman, President of Aleyant Systems. “It enables Pressero to obtain real-time prices from the MIS in the moment the customer is making a purchase.”
Pressero from Aleyant Systems is an affordable and easy-to-use cloud-based B2B or B2C online storefront solution that can quickly and easily be customized to individual client needs. Because it is delivered as Software as a Service, it has a pay-as-you-go model that involves limited up-front costs.
Web2Plan from SoftUSE adds online orders from Web-to-print systems to Printer’s Plan MIS, downloading linked files into a specific folder for each customer and sending information back to the Web-to-print system for closed loop communication. With this new pricing plug-in, Printer’s Plan is now able to provide Pressero with real-time pricing information, eliminating the need for separate price tables within the Pressero Web-to-print solution.
“We are excited to bring this unique productivity enhancer to mutual Pressero/Printer’s Plan customers. Visitors to our booth at PRINT 13 will be able to see this impressive capability in action,” added Ugur Edev, President of SoftUSE.
