The 2013 PODi European AppForum in London Extended to Two Days

Press release from the issuing company

The PODi European AppForum has been extended to two days due to exceptional interest from world-renowned speakers wishing to share their knowledge and expertise with a European audience of progressive digital printers, marketing services providers together with marketing and data professionals from brands and agencies.

The “Creating Customer Value” conference is on September 25th. The extra day, called“Where in the World?” is at the same venue on September 24th. Both conferences are part of the 2013 PODi European AppForum.

At the European AppForum there are speakers from the USA, Canada, Germany and the UK and we anticipate further contributions from the Netherlands and Switzerland. It is a truly international line-up of speakers for the UK’s only international digital printing event.

Where in the World? on Tuesday 24th September

Day 1 of the PODi European AppForum is a unique conference on geo-location strategies and applications in cross-channel marketing. An understanding of where customers are and where they go is becoming just as important as knowing who they are in today’s increasingly mobile world.

The “Where in the World?” conference is an intensive educational day for anyone wishing to learn about enhancing customer data to make marketing campaigns more targeted and effective using geo-location data.

The day will be led by international expert, Serge Grichmanoff from Canada, and will include a keynote presentation by Pat McGrew from HP in the USA. Speakers from Telefónica and Communisis, specialist data analysis agencies, Webalytix and Newgrove and technology provider, locr from Germany, complete the line up.

The Where in the World? conference day at the PODi European AppForum is exclusively sponsored by HP.

Creating Customer Value on Wednesday 25th September

The theme of the conference on Day 2 is “Creating Customer Value”. It is focused on the latest applications and solutions that digital printers and marketing services providers are using for cross media marketing and personalised on-demand digital printing services.

The conference agenda features a keynote presentation by David Cole, from fast.MAP agency, on ground-breaking research that delves into consumers’ attitudes to print and the role it plays in their lives along with digital and other media.

The programme includes leading experts Ian Sullivan from Paperhat Consorcio on social media, Gary Howard from Tangent Snowball on B2B web to print and John Noble from Pro-Active on cross-media data management. Peter Lancaster and Marian Stefani are chairing a range of break-out sessions on Cross Media and Print on Demand and contributing their unique insights in presentations themselves.

The full programme is designed to  inspire and educate owners and directors, sales and marketing executives, technical and operational managers at forward thinking digital printing and marketing services providers.

The “Creating Customer Value" conference at the PODi European AppForum is sponsored by Ricoh, Canon, HP, W3P and Inbay.
