MGI USA Names Ming to Southeast Asia Sales

Press release from the issuing company

Melbourne, Fla. – Lee “Ming” Yen Ming has been named regional sales manager for MGI USA, effective August 19. He brings a wealth of experience in relationship building, technical aspect delivery, graphic industry and sales knowledge.  Primary responsibilities include supporting and assisting the current distributor network in real-time, as well as growing the MGI network.

“I am very excited about joining the MGI family. MGI is a well-known company within the printing industry and is known for forward-thinking and most importantly, innovation. The diversity of MGI’s offerings presents an enormous opportunity for growth and local expansion here in Southeast Asia which I find very attractive,” said Ming.

Ming has 22 years in the engineering, sales and IT industries, most recently with STEVIC, where he quickly built a vast knowledge of the print and graphics industry including the MGI offerings and was instrumental in helping MGI build a client network in Asia. “Ming demonstrated very early on at STEVIC he was keen on building MGI into a household name within the print industry in Asia.  We feel that his thirst to continue that relationship-building in Asia will quickly impact us via an expanded network as well as additional sales. His keen technology understanding, combined with his qualified engineering background will strengthen and grow our  business partner network in Asia,” said Michael Abergel, Executive Vice-President and Managing Director, MGI USA.

An engineering graduate of Singapore Polytechnic, Lee also completed the 3-month LP30 Leadership Training program in Singapore. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Ming is also conversant in 5 other languages and dialects. Ming will report to Raymond Pena, Jr., International Director of Sales & Communications, Latin America & Asia Pacific and will be based in Singapore.
