East Rutherford, N.J.The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) has announced that Mark R. Hahn has joined the Association as a Senior Vice President and member of its Business Advisory Team.

With more than 30 years of graphic communications experience in finance, operations, sales, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and general management, Hahn has served as chief financial officer, chief operating officer and held other senior positions with several commercial printers, as well as founding and eventually selling his own printing company.

“We are extremely pleased to add Mark to our NAPL team,” says NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D. “He has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience in financial analysis and business management issues, including business valuations and cost studies. We know our members and clients will be well served with the insight and business acumen he brings to the association’s consulting and content development activities.”

Truncale also announced that the NAPL Business Advisory Team is now under the direction of Senior Vice President Mike Philie. He replaces former NAPL Senior Vice President Tim Fischer, who recently left the association to take a senior financial position with a major New Jersey printing company.

Hahn’s background includes consulting work in M&A, capital structure and funding, business turnarounds, and assisting owners with the sale of their business. Through his monthly blog, “The Target Report” (www.targetreport.org), he offers a high level overview of the latest trends in printing, packaging, and related industries, and serves as a central source for owners, investors, lenders, and other professionals seeking information about the latest industry mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcy filings.

Hahn is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and has served as a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), providing oversight to the New Jersey Family Court on behalf of abused children.

He may be reached at (201) 523-6313 or [email protected]. Hahn will also be present at the NAPL booth (#3961) during the PRINT 13 show in Chicago, Sept. 8-12, where he will be available for complimentary consultations with business owners and executives attending the show.
