Layar is the world's largest mobile augmented reality platform and their Global Business Development and Partnerships Manager, Kate Russell will be one of the Key Speakers at our Two Sides and Print Power Autumn Seminar 2013.
A seasoned media professional and entrepreneur, Kate ran her own international press agency, The Cover Story, for many years representing the work of photo-journalists to publishers and magazines in over 60 countries including National Geographic, Marie Claire and Le Figaro. She successfully established Corbis (US) in the Netherlands, one of the world's largest photo and footage archives owned by Bill Gates. She also negotiated content acquisition from sources like Martha Stewart and Jamie Oliver. As Content Innovation Manager for News Limited she encountered augmented reality technology and sees it as an exciting new media for publishers to create increased engagement and enrich reader experiences.
At the seminar, Kate Russell will tell you how publishers around the world are using augmented reality and interactive print to increase revenue and boost reader engagement as well as show how you can use interactive print in your business.
What is interactive print? How can you grow your business, engage with your readers and innovate in an industry that is ready for change and in search of new business models? With interactive print you can connect your print with digital assets like video, social media and eCommerce.
