Jere Ames-Johnson Named Chief Operating Officer at Southeast Media

GLEN MILLS, PA – Southeast Media located in Houston, Texas has named Jere Ames-Johnson of Wichita, Kansas as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. Ames-Johnson previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McCormick Armstrong in Wichita. Graphic Search Associates provided executive search services in conducting a national search for qualified candidates. 

Graphic Search was recommended to Gregg Parnell, President and CEO at Southeast Media by Peter Schaefer. Peter is a Partner with New Direction Partners in Valley Forge, PA. New Direction provides advisory services in investment banking, valuation, financial advisory and management consulting. The partners have been involved in more than 200 sales and mergers.

With more than twenty years in senior management and a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, Jere Ames-Johnson has led corporate teams with an emphasis on strategic marketing and sales. Prior to McCormick Armstrong, he was President of Heritage Press in Dallas, TX and served as Executive Vice President of Williams Printing in Atlanta, GA. His core management and leadership philosophy, “The vision needs to come from the top and be communicated in such a manner that there is a profound understanding of the values and direction of the organization.”
