NAPL Business Advisory Group Conducted Executive Search Throughout Southern California to Identify and Qualify Candidates

East Rutherford, N.J. - The Garvey Group, located throughout the Midwest and Southern California, has announced the appointment of Steve Roth to the position of Controller for The Garvey Group West Large-Format Facility, LLC, effective August 19, 2013. Roth previously served as an independent financial consultant and accounting advisor to public and private companies in the greater Los Angeles area. The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) provided advisory services in organizing and executing the search that led to the appointment.

The Garvey Group’s acquisition of the large format facility was made in July of this year, highlighting the company’s commitment to continued growth and expansion. “We are pleased to add Steve to our team,” said Ed Garvey, Owner and CEO of The Garvey Group, who represents the third generation of his family to run the 94-year-old business.

Roth is a graduate of California State University at Los Angeles, with post-baccalaureate work in accounting. Prior to his work as a financial consultant, he was the Corporate Controller for International Solar Electric Technology, Inc., and Division Controller for Knurr, Inc. (Emerson Electric Corporation), both in Chatsworth, Calif.
