FOSTER CITY, Calif. - November 4, 2003 - Electronics For Imaging, the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, today announced that Mainline Printing, Inc. of Topeka, Kansas, has successfully implemented the Printcafe PSI print management information system to increase business process automation and reduce costs. Mainline Printing is one of the few printers in the United States offering holographic imprinting, which accounts for about 30 percent of its business. General commercial printing makes up the remainder of the company's work, which is done on four sheet fed presses and one hybrid web-flexographic press. "We rely on it throughout the complete cycle," said Parker. "In our industry, estimating and job planning are so important, and so is job tracking. With PSI, the history of the orders is preserved in the system, and information is available for management. This is miles ahead of our previous estimating system."
