The world’s leading event in the beverage industry and the largest show in the labelling industry will take place in September in Munich and Brussels. 

Torraspapel, part of the Lecta Group, will be present for the first time at Drinktec, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry. The event, to be held in Munich from September 16-20, offers Lecta a unique opportunity to present its portfolio of specialty papers for beverage label design: Metalvac metallized papers, used by the most prestigious beer brands, and a wide selection of Adestor self-adhesive materials, for all kinds of beverages. 

Lecta’s label papers will also be featured, once again, at Labelexpo Europe from September 24-27 in Brussels. Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to find out about numerous new developments in Lecta’s ranges of one-side coated, metallized, cast-coated and thermal papers as well as its self-adhesive materials. 

“Labels to Celebrate” is an exclusive selection of Adestor brand pressure-sensitive labels for the food and beverage industries. The range includes a variety of textured, coated and metallized papers, and permanent adhesives, in addition to the following new Adestor facestock: Matt WS 90, Gloss WS 80, Snow Digital WS and Embossed Toile WS, all designed for wine and spirits, champagne, water and gourmet food product labels. The line’s launch is being showcased in the new “Labels to Celebrate” swatch book, which includes 21 elegantly designed high-quality print self-adhesive labels with special finishes: stamping, relief and UVI screen printing. The catalog is available in 4 languages (Spanish, Italian, French and English) and contains technical information on all grades.   

Metalvac, a range of high-vacuum 100% recyclable metallized paper, arrives at Drinktec and Labelexpo with a new catalog. The swatch book is made up of 3 volumes corresponding to the three applications for which Metalvac is designed: wet-glue labels, pressure-sensitive labels, and tobacco and packaging. Each folder contains general information on the range and specific information about the application, in addition to technical specifications and grade samples in different colors and finishes. All the information is available in Spanish, English and French.     

Eurokote is a bright white cast-coated paper ideal for premium labels for wine and spirits, champagne, luxury packaging and the self-adhesive, advertising and publishing markets.  

Lecta’s range of one-side coated Creaset papers features Creaset Suit. Specifically designed for color printing all sorts of labels and flexible packaging, Creaset Suit is a glossy paper with high specific volume and opacity as well as rapid ink penetration that facilitates on line varnishing and subsequent finishing processes. Its sheet formation and physical properties give it high internal resistance and dimensional stability, allowing for increased productivity in printing and finishing processes and final application on the package. Other products in this range include Creaset Adhesive, specially designed as facestock for self-adhesive applications in reels; Creaset Tobacco, developed for soft cigarette packets; Creaset Tobacco Wrap, for wrapping soft cigarette packets and Creaset RBP, kraft base paper for silicone coating.          

For applications that use direct thermal printing, Lecta has developed a range of Termax papers that guarantee perfect bar code resolution and provide different levels of durability and sensitivity depending on the final application. Used for point-of-sale receipts, transport and other types of tickets, and coupons, Termax papers can also be used for self-adhesive labels.
