Enfocus Connect 11 will support Adobe® Creative Cloud™ applications

Press release from the issuing company

Solution will extend the benefits of PDF creation, quality control, and file delivery to users of Adobe's major release

June 18, 2013 - Ghent, Belgium - Enfocus today announces that the recently revealed Connect 11 product line will include support for Adobe® Creative Cloud™ applications. Using the new Creative Cloud™ Connect Plug-in, users of InDesign®CC and Illustrator®CC can send layout files in PDF format directly into Connect 11 for preflight, correction and distribution to outside vendors. Connect 11, with support for the Creative Suite® 5, 5.5, 6 and the new Creative Cloud™, will be available in Q3, 2013.

Enfocus recently announced Connect 11, a solution that bridges the gap between creative and production professionals by helping designers deliver high-quality jobs the first time, with no IT or PDF skills required. Connect 11 addresses the most common problems with PDF files at the source, saving valuable time in production and avoiding costly mistakes.

High-quality PDF generation available for Adobe® Creative Cloud™ users

Available with Connect 11 will be The Creative Cloud™ Connect Plug-in. These plug-ins give users of Adobe® Creative Cloud™ applications that same level of confidence when they submit their PDFs to production. Designers need only select one command - "Export as Certified PDF" - and know that the PDF exported will contain the correct settings, every time.

Connect 11 includes the correction and preflight capabilities of the Enfocus PitStop technology. PDFs that are submitted through Connect are checked against a predefined Preflight Profile to ensure that fonts, images, color models, and more, all meet the standard defined.

"One of the main benefits of Adobe's Creative Cloud™ application is the way it fosters collaboration and streamlines the creative process. Connect 11 with the Creative Cloud™ Plug-In offers that same benefit to the production process, giving designers and production professionals greater confidence in the quality of the files they share," says Michael Reiher, Connect product manager, Enfocus.

"With this solution, designers can consistently create, verify and send high-quality PDFs; and the production professionals who receive them know that those PDFs will meet their standards."

The plug-ins for the Creative Suite® 5, 5.5 and 6.0, along with the new Creative Cloud™ plug-ins, will be available when Connect 11 is launched in Q3, 2013.

Full details about the Connect product line can be found on the Enfocus website. In addition, Enfocus is hosting a series of free webinars to introduce the new product family. Webinar schedules and registration are available at: http://www.enfocus.com/en/webinars.
