Weymouth, MA - InfoTrends is pleased to announce that Charlie Corr has rejoined the company as Group Director of its Enterprise Document Strategy Services. In his role, Corr will work with operations executives at enterprise accounts in the private and public sector to optimize their document communications spending, sourcing, and delivery. He will also work with in-plant service providers on multi-channel communications, technology investment planning, and sourcing management.

The Enterprise Document Strategy Service leverages InfoTrends' extensive resources to provide clients with objective, third-party assessments and strategy recommendations on print and digital delivery, production operations, and technology and sourcing strategies for critical promotional and operational documents. The emphasis is on helping clients communicate more effectively through the optimal mix of internal capabilities and external services.

InfoTrends is working with enterprise clients through on-site custom consulting projects, access to published reports, and facilitating interaction with industry peers and subject matter experts. The Enterprise Document Strategy Service will focus on critical issues facing operations executives and in-plant management including customer communications management, multi-channel delivery, web-to-print services, print management networks, production inkjet printing, workflow automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Corr stated, "Our goal is to assist the enterprise and its suppliers effectively navigate a multi-channel and multi-sourced communication environment. We can leverage our extensive coverage of the market and the combined expertise of the InfoTrends team to provide independent analysis and advice. I look forward to helping our clients successfully leverage technology and sourcing best practices to achieve continued success."

"Charlie is one of the most well-known and respected leaders in our industry," commented Jeff Hayes, President of InfoTrends. "He has led many in-depth assessments and strategy projects for a wide range of organizations. Most importantly, he has worked on both sides of the table providing services to the enterprise and operating a large in-plant. We are delighted to have Charlie back at InfoTrends to lead this new initiative."

Prior to joining InfoTrends, Corr was responsible for strategy, product management, marketing, and pricing at Mimeo, a leading web-enabled print service provider. During his tenure revenue grew 56% and Mimeo maintained a Net Promoter Score of 70, placing it in the top 5% of U.S. companies. Preceding his original tenure at InfoTrends, Corr was responsible for operations of Harvard University Printing & Publication Services. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and a recognized author and researcher in the document solutions industry.

Commentary from Cary Sherburne

After a hiatus from the consulting world in a key strategic role at Mimeo, Charlie Corr is back at InfoTrends, and the consulting community welcomes him back!  He will have a great deal to contribute in his new role at InfoTrends.  During his time at Mimeo, he had a great deal of opportunity to add to his already deep understanding of the enterprise document environment, and will bring that expertise to this role.  For his enterprise clients, Charlie’s knowledge about the world of printing and publishing, going back to the 13 years he spent running the print operation at Harvard where he implemented a number of innovations, and including the years he spent at InfoTrends and Mimeo, will be a huge benefit.  Charlie combines both operational and strategic skills, a unique combination that is hard to come by. InfoTrends will certainly benefit by his return
