Alphagraphics Announces Three New Franchise Agreements

Press release from the issuing company

FY13 On-Pace to be a Record Year for Franchise Activity for Marketing and Print Industry Leader

SALT LAKE CITY – AlphaGraphics, Inc., a global leader in marketing and print communications solutions, announced today the addition of three franchisees located in New York, New Mexico and Rhode Island to its global network.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, AlphaGraphics plans, produces and manages visual communications for businesses at nearly 300 owner-operated, locally based business centers worldwide.

Steven Service spent 20 years with the Xerox Corporation, and is utilizing his knowledge of the print industry to open a new AlphaGraphics business center in the upstate New York area. Service holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in software development from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is Six Sigma certified, and his status as a U.S. Army veteran allowed him to take advantage of the International Franchising Association’s VetFran program.

“I visited existing centers as I was evaluating the AlphaGraphics opportunity, and I saw products being used there that I helped bring to market with Xerox,” Service stated. “It is exciting to know that I will draw on that experience while serving customers as a marketing services provider. I have been very impressed with AlphaGraphics as a company and with the entire staff.”

Lisa Brenner brings two decades of experience in software engineering, computer systems maintenance and administration, and most recently owned a web design company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Virginia. Her strong business sense and enthusiasm will be applied to an existing AlphaGraphics location in New Mexico.

Najib Ayoub has been a franchise owner in the mobile communications industry since 1990, having achieved Top 1% performance out of 2,400 locations nationally. He and his wife, Heidi, were interested in something more consultative, where he can focus on the business operations while she utilizes her marketing expertise. The Ayoubs are in the process of acquiring an AlphaGraphics business center in New England.

“AlphaGraphics continues to attract highly qualified candidates who are in a position to control their own destinies, and these three are outstanding additions to our Network,” said Dave Buzza vice president of global development, AlphaGraphics. “We’re on pace to set a record for franchise activity for the fiscal year ending in June.”

AlphaGraphics, a 41 year-old brand, continues to be at the forefront of the visual communications and marketing industry. Backed by state-of-the-art technology, the world’s highest quality standards and a global network, the company’s trained and experienced team members are committed to delivering creative solutions that enable customers to grow their businesses and increase their reach. For more, visit www.alphagraphics.com or www.alphagraphicsfranchise.com.
