SALT LAKE CITY - ONYX Graphics, Inc., today announced it has added support for Mimaki^® JV400 printers. The driver is available for all ONYX Graphics version 1.2 / 10.2 workflow solutions software products.

The Mimaki JV400 is available in two variations. The JV400 LX printer may be configured with water-based white latex ink. The five-color mode printer incorporates lower ink curing temperatures allowing users greater flexibility and choice of media for outdoor and indoor printer applications. Mimaki’s JV400 SUV printer combines the flexibility of solvent ink with the durability of UV cured inks. 

ONYX Graphics recommends ONYX Thrive^TM print workflow software with the Mimaki JV400 series. ONYX Thrive software is a scalable solution based on Adobe^® PDF Print Engine technology enabling users to achieve brighter, more vibrant images; reduce manual intervention and eliminate repetitive tasks. It includes ONYX Graphics’ unique PowerChroma™ Black Generation tool with a new GCR (Gray Color Replacement) Plus feature, white and specialty ink tools, an easy recalibration tool and highly automated color profiling with Black Diamond tools. ONYX Thrive software also includes network licensing and a production manager that enable users to customize their print workflow and easily grow with business demands.
