Quark Names Dave White Chief Technology Officer

DENVER, CO –– Dave White has been named Chief Technology Officer for Quark Software Inc. Formerly Vice President of Alliances and Emerging Technology for the company, White is now responsible for leading Quark’s product teams and strategy as the company continues to offer innovative enterprise and mobile publishing platforms.

White, an engineer by training with two decades in the publishing software industry, is on the forefront of the technologies for high-value, impactful customer communications. Prior to joining Quark in 2008, he was Vice President of Product Strategy at PTC and Arbortext where he led key initiatives for executing on emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering technology. White speaks at industry and partner events on the topics of traditional and emerging publishing technologies including XML, DITA, HTML5, and ePub.
