Korber PaperLink debuts its new folio sheeter

Press release from the issuing company

Hamburg, March 15, 2004 – E.C.H. Will, a member of the Körber PaperLink Group, will present a new, world-class sheeter at its Open House in Hamburg at the beginning of May. The new FS Pro folio-size sheeter for the mid-range segment will be presented to industry professionals for the first time. At the heart of the machine is a new kind of paper overlapping system. This allows mark-free sheet handling of paper and cardboard, and thus sets a new standard for converting materials with sensitive surfaces, such as cardboard and paper coated, on one or both sides. The new FS Pro ensures continuous production by means of a waste-free, non-stop pallet change, thus increasing productivity by more than 10 percent. The new sheeting system also takes up comparatively little room - the footprint of the machine is some 30 percent smaller than sheeting systems currently offered for mid-range performance. At the Open House, the machine will be demonstrated to visitors under production conditions, with coated fine paper being cut into folio-size sheets. The reams of paper will then be packed by the GRM 12, a fully automatic ream wrapping machine from KPL Packaging. With the FS Pro, Körber PaperLink has completed its product portfolio in the folio-size sheeting sector and now covers the entire production spectrum from the entry-level through the mid-range and up to the high-end segment.
