Dec. 18 and 20 programs geared to helping industry business owners and executives budget for 2013
East Rutherford, N.J. - The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) will host two free webinars next week to help business owners better understand the impact of wage trends and benefit costs on their 2013 plans and budgets.
On Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 11:00 a.m. (EST), NAPL President Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D., will host a one-hour webinar on "Recent Trends in Wage & Benefits – How Will They Affect Your 2013 Budget?" On Thursday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. (EST), the topic will be "What the Affordable Care Act Means for You and Your Business." For more information, or to register for either or both free programs, go to http://www.napl.org/Webinars or call (800) 642-6275.
"Controlling costs is a major concern for business owners, as margins remain under great pressure and expenses are rising significantly in markets that are still very resistant to price increases," says Truncale. "One of the biggest challenges that print owners struggle with is costs related to their workforce."
In the Dec. 18 webinar, Truncale and a panel of experts will offer advice on how graphic communications industry owners and executives can overcome current compensation challenges and make the most effective strategic decisions about wages and benefits.
Two days later, NAPL will offer a free bonus webinar to address another issue impacting benefits expenses: "What the Affordable Care Act Means for You and Your Business." "As more provisions of this landmark legislation become effective in 2013, it is important that business owners understand how they will impact their company healthcare insurance costs and know what regulations they will have to comply with," explains Dean D'Ambrosi, NAPL Vice President/Member Relations.
In the Dec. 20 webinar, Denise Angleman, Regional Senior Vice President, Marsh & McLennan Agency, will help listeners navigate through the labyrinth of issues, timelines?and penalties? that are part of the Affordable Care Act.
