Printing Industry Experts to Focus on Maximizing Productivity and Functionality of Densitometers, Spectrophotometers and Color Measurement Software
 
Danvers, MA – Techkon USA is delighted to announce that they will be offering a free bi-weekly webinar series hosted by Technical Support Specialist, Samual Swartz, and featuring industry expert and Techkon USA's Director of Technical Sales, Bob Byrnes.  This webinar series is designed to help educate users, answer questions, and to give advice on the features and functionality of Techkon USA's premier line of densitometers, spectrophotometers, and software solutions, as well as to address general color measurement techniques.

Webinar series moderator and host, Samual Swartz, is a graphic arts professional with expertise in process control, color management, workflow, and facilities development.  Mr. Swartz has earned a reputation for excellence for his work on the development and implementation of the International Color Consortium (ICC), which promotes the use and adoption of open, cross-platform color management systems.  He is responsible for the development of techniques, documentation, and training courses related to color measurement and control and, with Mr. Swartz's participation, the Techkon USA bi-weekly webinar series promises to be engaging and informative.
 
Also participating in the webinar series is Bob Byrnes.  Mr. Byrnes focuses on color quality solutions for the press room for corporate accounts in the package printing industry.  He has played an integral role in implementing color measuring strategies for packaging printers large and small, and helping to configure color measurement/quality assurance systems for both printers and their brand managers.  He has authored several white papers on implementing color quality control and has been published in Flexo Magazine.

This 30 minute webinar is designed to help users understand and use the Ink Check function to get suggested ink density adjustments to obtain more accurate color control.  The Ink Check feature measures the color and density and provides the press operator suggested ink key specific density changes to obtain more accurate color thus increasing print quality and reducing downtime and waste, while increasing overall customer satisfaction.
