IPA Webinars Examine Mac OS X Automation, Fonts and PDF

(March 04, 2004) IPA, The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers, is offering a two-part Webinar series examining conflicts and opportunities in automation, fonts and PDF in Mac OS X. This timely series on Mac's newest operating system will provide insight and tools to enhance productivity of graphic communications professionals. This Webinar series is designed for production managers, operators, designers and service personnel. Chuck Weger, recognized as the developer of the concept of "preflight" and a noted industry workflow specialist, is conducting the Webinar series. In his first session, Workflow Automation in Mac OS X, scheduled for March 17, Weger will examine scripting techniques and tools available in Mac OS X. The second session, Panting for Panther: Update on Fonts, PDF and PostScript in Mac OS 10.3, scheduled for April 1, will provide insight and solutions to managing fonts and PDF workflows in Mac OS 10.3.
